  6. This huge utility strips a few ANSI-ish sequences from any file.
  7. It does not try to replace the escape sequences, just strip them.

  9. I've tried a number of existing utilities, but most don't seem
  10. to catch standard sequences.

  12. The (flex) source is included in the archive with instructions
  13. for making the executable with GNU-C.
