  8. AM was written to support the muFS system operator's work by supplying
  9. an easy-to-use user interface based on MUI (Magic User Interface) by 
  10. Stefan Stuntz.

  12.    The following gives you a quick overview on AM's facilities:

  14.    * localized (currently English, German, Netherlands, Norwegian,
  15.      Portuguêse, and Swedish catalogs)

  17.    * needs and makes extensive use of MUI 2.0 (`muimaster.library'
  18.      version 7+)

  20.    * supports the following operations on the muFS system files
  21.  
  22.         - create new users/groups
  23.  
  24.         - edit any characteristics of an existing user/group

  26.         - delete users/groups
  27.  
  28.         - temporarily ban a user from the system
  29.  
  30.    * automatically creates new $HOME directories and installs default
  31.      files there by executing a user supplied script
  32.  
  33.    * checks $HOME directories (not functional yet)
  34.  
  35.    * searches muFS partitions for files with bad owner information and
  36.      changes them
