  1. DirKing         DirKing is a very powerful replacement for the AmigaDOS 'List'
  2.                 and 'Dir' commands. It gives full control over formatting of
  3.                 the listing. Batch (script) files can also be generated, which
  4.                 can be executed from within DirKing if wanted.
  5.                 The directory can be sorted on one or more items (e.g. size,
  6.                 date, comment, datatype,..), and in a user defined order.
  7.                 DirKing also supports numerous directory filters (e.g. name,
  8.                 date, comment, datatype...). All these filters can be made
  9.                 effective on files only, on directories only or on both. One
  10.                 can even define patterns for each directory level.
  11.                 Multiple scan paths may be given, also supported are multiple
  12.                 assigns, links, datatypes and locale value formats. Unique is
  13.                 the feature to monitor the directory scanning process. If you
  14.                 have cataloged your disk collection, then you can insert the
  15.                 disk ID in the listing.
  16.                 Very useful are the listing fields which inform you how many
  17.                 files and dirs each directory contains. The actual blocks and
  18.                 bytes used by a directory can be shown, thus allowing to see
  19.                 if it would fit on a certain disk. DirKing offers a lot more
  20.                 than can be presented in this short space, so check it out!
  21.                 DirKing currently supports AmigaDOS v1.2 upto v3.1.
