  6. DOSPrefs is a small commodity with three functions:
  7.  
  8. 1. Control the "Wildstar"-flag of the Amiga OS 2.0+ dos.library.
  9.  
  10. 2. Control the "Noclick"-flags of the Amiga OS 2.0+ trackdisk.device.
  11.  
  12. 3. Provide an all new "Unixdirs"-feature.

  32. Changes since 1.2:

  34.   - improved GUI. Now has some checkbox gadgets in addition to menus.
  35.   - added a function to save the current settings in DOSPrefs.info
  36.   - improved patching mechanism. Now uses a jumptable; thus, DOSPrefs can
  37.     exit even if someone changed the patched vectors in dos.library.
  38.   - now detects if SetMan or SaferPatches is installed (skips library
  39.     vector change detection in this cases) (suggested by Gunther Nikl).
  40.   - moved the code that is not always needed (GUI, etc.) into an overlay.
  41.   - fixed string conversion function. Now processes names ending in .
  42.     correctly.
  43.   - improved help system. Now searches for guide files in your prefered
  44.     languages, defaulting to english if none are found.
