  68.      1 Registration

  70.         LhA is  a  copyrighted  product that has been made available to
  71.      you  under  the  concept  of  "Shareware".  It has never been, nor
  72.      will  it  ever  be  in  the  "Public  Domain".   You are granted a
  73.      limited  license in order to evaluate these programs.  If, after a
  74.      3  or  4  week  period of evaluation, you find that LhA suits your
  75.      archiving needs, please register.

  77.         IF YOU  DO  NOT  REGISTER AFTER THIS PERIOD YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED
  78.      TO  USE THE PROGRAM (since you obviously didn't think it was worth
  79.      using).

  81.         By cooperating  with  this concept you help to ensure continued
  82.      development of this product.

  84.         Registered users  will  be  shipped  a  disk  with  the  latest
  85.      release  version  of  LhA  together  with a keyfile. This keyfile,
  86.      once  copied  to your system, will disable the ShareWare reminders
  87.      that  always  open  when  you  start  or quit the Intuition driven
  88.      programs  in  the  LhA  family. The registered-user version of LhA
  89.      has  all  the  features  of  the  evaluation  version,  as well as
  90.      several  additional commands, options and features. The registered
  91.      version is also up to 50% faster than the evaluation version.

  93.         Site license  information for commercial and government use can
  94.      be obtained directly from the author.

  96.         No person(s)   or   businesses   other   than  the  author  are
  97.      authorized  to accept any registration or distribution fees in any
  98.      form  whatsoever,  except  as  specified  by the author.  The only
  99.      people  who  will  be  regarded  as registered users are those who

  114.         Please allow  two to eight weeks for delivery. Usually you will
  115.      be  sent  your registered version right away, but if a new version
  116.      is  near completion, I will wait until it has been finished unless
  117.      you explicitly tell me to send a version right away.

  128.         Basically, the  evaluation  version  of  LhA may be distributed
  129.      freely as long as the following conditions are met:

  131.         The distributor  may  only  charge  a  fee  up  to the costs of
  132.      obtaining   a   public   domain  diskette  from  Fred  Fish.   The
  133.      distributor  agrees  to  cease  distributing the programs and data
  134.      involved  if  requested  to  do so by the author.  The distributor
  135.      may  only  distribute  an unmodified copy of the original program,
  136.      with  all  the  supplied  documentation and copyright notices left
  137.      intact.

  152.         When sending  in  bug  reports, please state exactly under what
  153.      circumstances  the  bug occurred, what equipment was used and what
  154.      happened.   If  possible also try to give me enough information to
  155.      reproduce  the  bug.   It  is very difficult to find bugs when you
  156.      don't   know  exactly  what  happened.   Please  don't  just  send
  157.      messages  like  "it  can't extract files from archives sometimes",
  158.      that  really  doesn't  help me.  If possible, submit the offending
  159.      file/archive  to  me so I can test it myself, or give me a pointer
  160.      where I can find the archive.

  162.      4 Program availability

  164.         The latest  version  of  LhA  is always available for anonymous
  165.      FTP  at  lysator.liu.se,  in  `/pub/amiga/lha_e???.run'  - it is a
  166.      self-extracting  archive that should be executed from CLI or WB2.0
  167.      to  extract  the  contents.  It will also be available for FidoNet
  168.      FReq  from AUGS BBS in Linköping, Sweden, under the magic filename
  169.      `LHA', the Fido node number is 2:204/404.

  173.      1.  This  license  applies  to  the product called "LhA", a set of
  174.         programs  for the Commodore-Amiga computer, published by Stefan
  175.         Boberg  under  the  concepts of ShareWare, and the accompanying
  176.         documentation,  example files and anything else that comes with
  177.         the  original  distribution.  The  terms  "Programs"  and "LhA"

  194.         including  all  the  accompanying  documentation, example files
