  3. This is disk 210 of the freely distributable AMIGA software library.
  4. Below is a listing of the significant directories and their contents.

  6. Calc        A very nicely done scientific/programmer/plotter calculator.
  7.         The scientific portion has most of the operations found on
  8.         the more popular handhelds. The programmer portion has all
  9.         the special hex/binary/decimal conversions as well as
  10.         register operations like ASL, ROL, LSL, AND, OR, XOR, etc.
  11.         The plotter portion will plot equations.  Other features
  12.         include 26 memories, full mouse or keyboard operation,
  13.         pull-down menus, and iconization.  Version 3.0, binary only.

  16. LabelPrint    A program that allows you to easily print labels for
  17.         your disks.  Version 1.9, shareware, binary only (source

  37.         the supplied slate.font, will allow one to type in Esperanto
  38.         and Welsh, in any program that will use keymaps and fonts.

  42.         inclusion in the library.  Suggested shareware donation

  48.         to type in American Sign Language, provided that one

  54.         shows bootblock on a screen, periodically checks system

  66.         Killer Demo Contest.

  69. DiskSalv    A disk recovery program for all Amiga file system devices
  70.         that use either the Amiga Standard File System or the
  71.         Amiga Fast File System.  Disksalv creates a new filesystem
  72.         structure on another device, with as much data salvaged from
  73.         the original device as possible.  This is an update to the
  74.         version released on disk 177.  Binary only.

  87. Cucug        This animation of the Champaign-Urbana Commodore Users
  88.         Group logo was submitted to the 1988 Badge Killer Demo
  89.         Contest by Ed Serbe.

  92. Icons        Almost 300 icons in eight (!) colors.  Uses a special
  93.         program to get an eight color workbench to display these
  94.         icons, which were made with DPaintII and IconGen.  Most
  95.         icons are miniatures of the main screen of their
  96.         corresponding programs, or the picture they show, made
  97.         with "iconize" and "recolor" from disk 85.

  106.         with arc or any other program that can't scan through
  107.         different directories and/or handle long filenames.

  112.         five numerical generators (integer, ffp, ieee, 020, and 
  113.         020/881) in hand-crafted assembly for maximum speed, online

  115.         multiple pictures simultaneously, a sophisticated user
  116.         interface with shaded gadgets, etc.  Some of the other
  117.         features include zoom, magnify, color-cycling, contouring,
  118.         auto-contouring, histogram, statistics, presets, extra-
  119.         halfbrite support, overscan, orbits, pan mode, and more.
  120.         Requires 1Mb or more of memory.  This is the source to
  121.         version 2.0, an update to the version on disk 78.  A
  122.         compiled binary, along with help files and example
  123.         images, can be found on disk 215.

  126. MemDiag        A memory diagnostic program to identify addresses which
  127.         produce memory errors, and a memory quarantine program
  128.         which removes such defective addresses from the system's
  129.         free memory list, until such time as the hardware errors
  130.         can be corrected.  Version 1.1, includes source.

  133. RunBack        Another step in the evolution of Rob Peck's RunBackGround
  134.         program, from disks 73 and 152.  Allows you to start a new
  135.         CLI program and run it in the background, then closes the
  136.         new CLI.  This version has been enhanced to use the NULL:
  137.         device by Gunnar Nordmark (included), which is a "real"
  138.         device, so it solves problems with previous versions of
  139.         RunBack which used the Nil: "fake" device, causing many
  140.         crashes.  Includes source.

  143. SmartIcon    This shareware program, submitted by the author,
  144.         is an Intuition objects iconifier.  Version 1.0
  145.         is limited to iconifying windows, which is still
  146.         very handy.  It adds a new "iconify gadget" to
  147.         each window, that when clicked on, iconifies the
  148.         window into an icon in the ram: disk.  This is the
  149.         same version as released on disk 134, but now includes
  150.         the source code.
