  26.     * Cleaned up the build process slightly.  Makefiles in ./std tree
  27.     now maintain objects within the libraries rather than simply
  28.     building the .o's and archiving them.  Of course the make(1) used
  29.     must know how to maintain libraries :-)

  38.     (incompatibility) in the times() call.  Now the ./std/libs are
  39.     used fully, and the supplied times() call functions as expected.
