  6. What is TimeEvent?

  8. With  the TimeEvent Preference  Editor you can  control the execution times of a
  9. list of programs.
  10.  
  11. You can popup a requester to remind you of a special date, start a  backup every
  12. week  or let your computer fetch  your  email  during  the night, because of the
  13. lower rates.
  14.  
  15. As with the System Preference Editors, there has  to be an additional program to
  16. perform the settings made with TimeEvent.  This  program is  called cron and  it
  17. runs in the background. (There is no cron prg in this archive!)
