    (obstack_finish): If alloc_failed, return NULL.
    (obstack_base, obstack_next_free, objstack_object_size):
    If alloc_failed, return 0.
    (obstack_grow, obstack_grow0, obstack_1grow, obstack_ptr_grow,
    obstack_int_grow, obstack_blank): If alloc_failed, do nothing that
    could corrupt the obstack.
