  8. MakeVersion is a simple program for creating program version
  9. numbers. I use it to embed version numbers in most of my
  10. publicly-released programs. It creates linkable object files
  11. which can be used by any standard Amiga linker when linking
  12. the program and is particularly suitable for use in Make
  13. files (or Lmk or DMake files).
