  3. This is disk 240 of the freely distributable AMIGA software library.
  4. Below is a listing of the significant directories and their contents.

  7. CrossDOS    A "tryware" version of a mountable MS-DOS file system
  8.         for the Amiga.  This is a software product that allows
  9.         you to read and write MS-DOS/PC-DOS and Atari ST
  10.         formatted disks (Version 2.0 or higher) directly from
  11.         AmigaDOS.  This tryware version is a "readonly" version,
  12.         which does not allow any writes to the disk.  A fully
  13.         functional version is available for a very reasonable
  14.         price from CONSULTRON.  Version 3.02, binary only.

  16.  
  17. Dis        An AmigaDOS shareable library which implements a symbolic
  18.         single-instruction disassembler for the MC68000 family and
  19.         a program which uses the library to disassemble/dump 
  20.         AmigaDOS object files, making full use of symbolic and
  21.         relocation information.  Includes source code in Draco.

  24. DM-Maps        IFF maps to the Dungeon Master game.  All 14 levels are
  25.         included.

  28. MemLib        A link library of routines to aid in debugging memory
  29.         problems.  Works with Lattice C 5.0 and possibly with
  30.         earlier versions.  It's features include trashing all
  31.         allocated memory, trashing all freed memory, keeping
  32.         track of freed memory with notification if it is 
  33.         written to, notification of memory freed twice or
  34.         not at all, notification of overrunning or underrunning
  35.         allocated memory, generation of low memory conditions
  36.         for testing purposes, and identification of violations
  37.         of memory use by filename and line number of the
  38.         allocating routine.  Includes source.

  41. RunBack        This is version 6, an update to the version on disk 152
  42.         (the version on disk 214 appears to be on a different
  43.         evolutionary path).  This version compiles under Lattice
  44.         with many optimizations enabled, and can be made resident.

  48. XprLib        External file transfer protocol library.  Document and
  49.         code example for implementing external file transfer
  50.         protocols using Amiga shared libraries.  This is an
  51.         update to the version included with the vlt program on
  52.         disk 226.

  57. This is disk 241 of the freely distributable AMIGA software library.

  61. ASDG-rrd    Extremely useful shareware recoverable ram disk.  This
  62.         AmigaDOS device driver implements a completely DOS
  63.         compatible disk device in memory that survives resets,
  64.         guru's, and crashes.  An absolute must for those with
  65.         lots of ram.  This is an update to the version released
  66.         on disk 58.  It now works with up to 8Mb of memory.  It
  67.         was rewritten in assembly and is now faster and much
  68.         smaller.  Binary only.

  71. CBBS        The W0RLI BBS system for use in amateur radio.  Originally
  72.         written for IBM-PC compatibles, it was ported to the Amiga
  73.         by Pete Hardie.  This is version 6.1c with source code.

  76. Fix68010    A program which patches executables that fail to run
  77.         on machines equipped with an M68010, so that they no
  78.         longer use the prohibited priviledged instructions.

  82. Man        A program similar to the UNIX "man" program.  Displays
  83.         information about a topic from manual pages.  Does not
  84.         include any database of topics, you have to supply your
  85.         own.  Version 1.2, includes source.

  88. NoClick        A program which silences the clicking of empty drives
  89.         on the B2000 under AmigaDOS 1.3.  It should also work
  90.         on an A500.  This is version 3.4, an update to the 
  91.         version on disk 231.  Includes assembly source code.

  93.  
  94. Tiles        A basic tile game like Shanghai or GunShy.  A board is
  95.         covered with a set of 144 tiles, 36 different sets of
  96.         4 identical tiles, each with a picture on it.  The
  97.         object is to remove all the tiles, 2 at a time, by
  98.         matching identical tiles.  Version 2.1, includes source
  99.         in Modula II.

  108. BootBlocks    Detailed documentation on what a bootblock is and
  109.         how it works, along with some sample bootblocks and
  110.         a program to install a custom bootblock.  Includes
  111.         source for the sample bootblocks and the install

  115. Check4Mem    Allows you to check for a specified amount of memory,
  116.         with certain attributes, from a batch file.  If the
  117.         requirements are not met, a WARN returncode is generated.

  121. CustReq        A glorified ASK command for your startup-sequence.  It
  122.         generates a requester with the specified title, text,

  128. FileReq        This is Jonathan's second version of a file requester,

  133. FullView    A text viewer that uses gadgets at the bottom of the screen
  134.         (thus can display text 80 columns wide), opens up to the
  135.         full height of the workbench screen, has fast scrolling,

  138.         from author.

  141. Image-Ed    An icon editor that allows you to draw and edit images up to
  142.         150 by 90, in up to 16 colors.  Allows freehand drawing,
  143.         empty or filled rectangles, ellipses, and triangles, lines
  144.         curves, and polygons, copy, flip about x or y axis,
  145.         stretching and condensing, flood fill and complement,
  146.         text with selection and loading of font style, undo,
  147.         magnified and normal sized images, and two active drawing
  148.         screens at once.  This is version 2.2, an update to version
  149.         1.9 on disk 211.  Binary only, source available from author.

  152. JAR        A shareware game (Jump And Run) using 3-D graphics.  Your
  153.         task is to collect the blue pills lying on the floors and
  154.         steps, not to fall down or off the steps, and to avoid
  155.         several monsters wandering about.  You can collect various
  156.         sorts of weapons to use against the monsters.  Version 1.0,
