  3. This is disk 920 of the freely distributable AMIGA software library.
  4. Below is a listing of the significant directories and their contents.

  7. AmigaGuide    Archive distribution of the AmigaGuide hypertext utility direct
  8.         from Commodore.  Contains developer examples and tools for
  9.         AmigaGuide under V34/V37 and V39, plus a new free print/sign/
  10.         send-in distribution license for AmigaGuide, amigaguide.lib-
  11.         rary, WDisplay, and their icons.  An update to the version on
  12.         disk number 870, contains: AmigaGuide 34.3, amigaguide.library
  13.         34.11, AD2AG 39.2 and WDisplay 34.1.

  16. BBSGuard    A program which will monitor the phone ringing, monitor carrier
  17.         detect, disable Guru Meditations, auto-cancel all requesters,
  18.         and if a volume is validating, pause the system until it is
  19.         done.  Version 2.03, binary only.

  22. BigAnim        An animation player capable of "direct from disk" playback,
  23.         with user selectable buffer size and playback speed.  BigAnim
  24.         can display IFF ANIM animations of types 5 and 7, and makes
  25.         use of the new graphics.library double-buffering routines when
  26.         run on an Amiga with Kickstart 3.0 or later.  Version 3.3,
  27.         requires Kickstart 2.04 or higher.  Binary only.

  30. PcRestore    A utility for those people who want to transfer files between
  31.         MSDOS-machines and the Amiga.  Handles disks  'BACKUP'ed under
  32.         DOS 3.30, 4.X, 5.X.  (Perhaps lower version's but untested)
  33.         Requires OS2.0, ReqTools.library, and a method to read MS-DOS
  34.         disks (Crossdos filesystem or similar).  Version 2.40, binary
  35.         only.

  38. Report        The Amiga "Report" program is to be used for generating all
  39.         Amiga bug reports and enhancement requests.  V40.1 adds sub-
  40.         system changes (to match our current database) and also some
  41.         automatic detection of debugging tools running on your system
  42.         for insertion into bug reports (you may change this list to
  43.         match the tools you were running at the time the bug happened).

  46. TypeSmithDemo    A sneak peek at Soft-Logik's new font editor.  All features
  47.         are enabled except Save, Save As and Export.  TypeSmith can
  48.         create and edit PostScript, Compugraphic and Soft-Logik out-
  49.         line fonts (the three primary font systems used on the Amiga).
  50.         TypeSmith has powerful drawing tools to allow you to create
  51.         new fonts.  You can also import characters and symbols from
  52.         structured drawing programs such as Art Expression.  With
  53.         these powerful features, you can create custom fonts and
  54.         include your logo in your favorite fonts.

  63. CapShift    Simple commodity which turns the shift key into a 'capslock-
  64.         toggle' key: if capslock is off, the shift key + an alphabetic
  65.         key produces an uppercase character, as usual; if capslock is
  66.         on, the shift key + an alphabetic key produces a lowercase
  67.         character.  Can also disable capslock when a function key or a
  68.         qualifier is pressed.

  71. MiniGames    Two little Workbench games; MiniPac, an "Pacman" type game,
  72.         and MiniIsola, "a head 'em off at the pass and box 'em in"

  76. MiniMorph    A little morphing package written in assembler, based on VMorph
  77.         Version 2 beta by Lee Wilkie (but nearly 50 times faster (un-

  80.         Includes a sample morph anim and iff files.

  89. Designer    A program to create intuition interfaces for programs, at
  90.         present producing code in Pascal and C is possible.  This
  91.         is a demo version with a partially disabled save option.
  92.         The program has on-line help and can create windows and
  93.         menus, supporting all gadtools gadgets in V37.  It can also
  94.         import IFF ILBM pictures for inclusion in your programs.
  95.         It requires Release V37+.  Version 1.0, binary only.

  98. WBSearch    A multi-tasking Workbench AppMenuItem file search utility.
  99.         The search pattern does not support pattern matching symbols,
  100.         only matches letters in the filename in continuous order.

  110. bBaseIII    An easy to use, versatile, yet full featured database program
  111.         that will run on any Amiga.  Search or sort on any field,
  112.         print mailing labels, (un)delete records, mail merge, get
  113.         reports in many formats, scramble files, flag records, and
  114.         more.  Fields are user-configurable, so bBase can be used
  115.         to keep track of addresses, tape or video collections, reci-
  116.         pe files, or anything else you can think of - one program
  117.         does it all!  bBaseIII is a greatly enhanced successor to
  118.         bBaseII.  This is version 1.4, an update to V1.3 on disk 878.

  122. CryptoKing    A game for those who like to solve Cryptograms; those coded
  123.         sentences that have to be decoded to be read.  Operate with

  128. MagicClip    A shell utility for accessing clipboard text.  Text can be
  129.         written to or read from any clipboard unit.  Supports multi-
  130.         hunk text and can be configured with two environment vari-
  131.         ables.  Version 1.2, includes source in Oberon-2.

  134. MagicPubName    A powerful 'getpubname' utility, that prints the name of the
  135.         default, frontmost, or shanghai public screen to the console,
  136.         or checks whether a public screen is frontmost, or at least

  138.         screen may also be popped to the front.  Can also find the
  139.         public screen of an arbitrary console.  Needs Amiga-OS 2.04
  140.         or better.  Version 1.3a, includes source in Oberon-2.

  143. OberonPrefs    A preferences editor for manipulating the compiler and linker
  144.         options of A+L Amiga-Oberon.  Manipulates both the global

  147.         Types interface, Localization and more.  Requires Amiga-OS
  148.         2.04 or better, takes advantage of Amiga-OS 2.1 and 3.0 if

  161.         vars in the ENVARC: directory if you run OS3.0 or later.  Re-
  162.         quires OS 2.04, new SAVE/S feature requires OS 3.0 to work.
