An X-10 Coprocessor board (see sources, below).
A TW-523 X-10 powerline interface.(see sources, below).
ARexX-10 included in this release.

Commercial distribution of Remote or of a package containing
Remote requires written approval of the author.
Remote May be distributed publicly, or in library collections,
As long as all files remain intact and unmodified.
Usage: The program may be run from the workbench, from a shell, or by
dragging it's icon into the WBStartup drawer. It will open a window on
the default public screen, and will transmit all gadget presses to the
ARexX-10 program, portname BSR. The currently selected units are
highlighted with a red bar over their gadgets. If another remote in your
house should transmit, the red bars will respond accordingly, so that you
can always see where your commands are directed.
Shell/Script startup options: The following options may used when starting
the program by shell or script. The template is given in standard AmigaDOS
format. TEMPLATE=P=PORTNAME/K,H=HUBNAME/K
Option Abbrev. Default Description
PORTNAME P X10 Sets the name of the ARexx port for this program.
(.01 will be added for the first remote)
HUBNAME H BSR Sets the name of the ARexX-10 hub.
HOUSECODE HC A Sets the initial HouseCode of the remote.
Workbench (Icon) startup options: These options are set by selecting the
ARexX-10 icon and selecting "information" from the workbench icon menu.
If not set, they will assume reasonable defaults.
TOOLTYPE Default
PORTNAME X10 Set the name of the ARexx port.
(.01 will be added, then .02 for second etc...)
HUBNAME BSR Set the name of the ARexX-10 manager.
HOUSECODE A Set the initial HouseCode of the Remote.
DONOTWAIT Add this tooltype if running from the WBStartup
drawer to allow the startup to continue.
Note: ArexX-10 must be running BEFORE Remote is started, or the program
will not be able to request updates.
Once running, Remote will post a request for updates for it's current
housecode setting, and will modify that request as the HouseCode Gadget
is changed. The user may press the unit numbers for the appliances thay
wish to control, then press the commands the would like. A Red LED will
light while each gadget press is being transmitted. The Green LED shows
that the last key pressed was a unit address, and more units may be added
(if desired) before commands are issued. This LED is also sensitive to
other remotes transmitting on the same housecode, anywhere in your house.
Remote only responds to one ARexx command.. Quit. But it is probably
easier to use the close gadget in the window.
Planned for future release:
1> A status report of the On/Off/Dim state of each unit in a
housecode.
2> Whatever is suggested to me, if I like the idea.
3> Whatever I am paid sufficiently to create, whether I like it or not!
If you have any comments, suggestions, or donations, I may be reached at:

If you develop any neat applications for this, or create any cool new
remotes, please consider sending me a copy, and tell me whether or not I
may distribute them in the next release.
Enjoy! 8^)
