perfmeter(1) USER COMMANDS perfmeter(1)
NAME
perfmeter, PerfMeter - CPU usage, load and memory meter
SYNOPSIS
perfmeter
DESCRIPTION
PerfMeter is the X's PerformanceMeter-style little meter, which
shows CPU usage, CPU load, chip, fast and public memory.
The items can be selected from the Project menu. In v1.2 there's
current uptime, too. Uptime is reseted every time you start
Perfmeter so I think you better add perfmeter command to your
s:user-startup.
The idea for this was given by an unknown guy (actually I forgot
guy's name :) who said that AmyInfo (also one of my products) looks
like the X's PerformanceMeter. Well, WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THIS :)
(V1.11) PerfMeter needs no runback anymore.
(V1.2) Perfmeter needs Kickstart 37.xxx or higher. This means
your Kickstart release must be 2.0 or newer. That is
because now there's new 2.0's feature in the top of the
window, zip gadget! You can 'iconify' Perfmeter's
window. Also some 3D effects are added and they would
not look too smart on 1.3.
(V2.1) Due to some bug raports I revised the program to support
different screen fonts and fixed a bug which caused
uptime counter to be too slow.

BUGS
V1.2: My Amiga crashed 2 times today. There should not be anything
odd in Perfmeter. I think it -=*WAS*=- Popupmenu. Sanity check
failed guru flashed twice when I was operating with Perfmeter's
menus. So there's about 0.000000000001% possibility that there's
something potential for gurus in Perfmeter and I'm 99.99999999999%
sure that it was Popupmenu :)

I've spend about 35 hours coding this little program. I did this
because I needed a program like this. But if you find this useful, too
and want to support my work, you can send $5-$5000 to the address
showed up there. Disk/Sweets/Letters do also just fine.
