  3.      Following the attacks and rioting at Extension, B.C., Attorney-General Bowser ordered the Seventy Second Militia to intervene. They came "loaded for bear". The gun is a Maxim heavy machine gun. Over two hundred strikers were arrested, one of whom died in jail for lack of medical attention.
