The traditional weapons of the Amerindian warrior were the bow and arrow, the ball-headed club and the stone-headed tomahawk. In addition to the first two of these weapons, this photograph also illustrates the tremendous penetrating power of arrows; the vertebra has been penetrated by an arrowhead.
