Quebec armchair with a woven rush seat. The rear uprights are extended to serve as the back, and the front uprights serve as a support for strongly curved armrests. Three horizontal slats ("vohches'J form the back, between which is inserted a carved heart surmounted by double rays in the form of a "V".
The technique of assembly and the bevelled edges of the uprights are traditional but the decoration and the single lower bar at the front make this chair a unique specimen of very great interest. The symbolism of love is dominant.
