A table with turned feet joined by a cross-piece in the form of an H. The details of the turning are a little reminiscent of the spirit of the Louis Xl I I style, but the most original element is the fact that the cross-piece is placed so high. This table was perhaps one of the most common items of furniture in the household of a young couple from the middle of the 18th century up to the beginning of the 19th century. Its original colour, vivid orange, suggests the happy circumstances surrounding its origin.
