Ox carts were familiar sights in streets of many Nova Scotian towns and in rural communities. Their owners delivered goods to market or from businesses in small towns to their customers in the country. Joe Parsons, a native of Wolfville, was a familiar delivery man in the Annapolis Valley in the early years of this century.
