  7.    INEWS Weekly is an English language weekly magazine, covering 
  8. news of the world.  INEWS Weekly provides up-to-date and accurate

  20.    International News E-Wire Service (INEWS) is an English
  21. language daily, covering news of the world.  INEWS provides
  22. up-to-date and accurate world news.  It also includes many
  23. features covering such topics as economics, science, medicine,
  24. technology, agriculture, and music.

  26.    Every day, INEWS gathers reports filed by correspondents
  27. stationed at 26 news bureaus throughout the world.  INEWS relates
  28. first-hand coverage of stories from news bureaus in Abidjan,
  29. Bangkok, Beijing, Berlin, Bonn, Cairo, Chicago, Geneva, Hong
  30. Kong, Islamabad, Jerusalem, Johannesburg, London, Los Angeles,
  31. Miami, Moscow, Nairobi, New Delhi, New York, Paris, Prague, Rio
  32. de Janeiro, San Jose, Tokyo, Vienna, and Washington, D.C.

  34.    Daily INEWS service is available for less than $4.00 a month.

  36.    Delivered through E-mail in one of two versions, plain text or
  37. a DOS/VGA version.  The DOS/VGA version is sent either through
  38. E-mail, encoded, or through file transfer on America Online.  The
  39. encoded version is not available through FIDO Net.

  41.    What is an encoded file?  Most electronic mail systems can't
  42. handle binary files.  Binary files are word processor and
  43. spreadsheet data files, and files with a .EXE or .COM extension. 
  44. UUENCODE is a file conversion standard.  It will change a binary
  45. file into an ASCII file, that can be sent through E-mail.  Once
  46. you receive the encoded file(s) through E-mail, you can decode it
  47. to return the file back to its binary form.

  49.    UUXFER20 is the program we recommend for decoding INEWS 
  50. encoded files.  UUXFER20 is shareware, if you continue to use it 
  51. after the 30-day trial period you must register it with its 
  52. author.  Public domain and freeware UUENCODE encoding/decoding 
  53. software are available.

  82. or encoded DOS/VGA version, should be sent.  The preferred method
  83. of delivery for PC users is through America Online.  Subscribers

  85. with software and 10 hours of free usage.

  120.    We recommend that you use the shareware program UUXFER20.

  129.    At the command line of the directory containing the encode 
  130. files and UUXFER20 you should type:

  134.    The file name is always the encoded file with the .1
  135. extension. In this case you would enter:

  137.     UUXFER20 -M -DINWS1231.1
  138.  
  139.    This would convert the encoded files into the file
  140. INWS1231.EXE, the self-running December 31st edition of INEWS
  141. Daily.
