Command: New/Warp < NA >
Purpose: Erase threading and start new warp
Information:
When you request New/Warp, you are warned that the threading
is about to be erased. If you continue, you must specify
the number of threads to start with in the new warp. You
are not limited to the number of threads you specify since
Insert Mode automatically adds new threads as you need them.
So specify enough threads to give yourself some working
space, and add more as needed.
Comments:
New Warp is like New/Weaving, except the weft is left
unchanged.
Warp range is reset to total warp.
Editor keys are displayed with the <?> help key while
editing.

Command: New/Weft < NE >
Purpose: Erase the weft and start a new one
Information:
When you request New/Weft, you are warned that the treadling
and harness combinations (lift plan) are about to be erased.
If you continue, you must specify the number of rows to
start with in the new weft. You are not limited to the
number of threads you specify since Insert Mode
automatically adds new threads as you need them. So specify
enough threads to give yourself some working space, and add
more as needed.
Comments:
New Weft is like New/Weaving, except the warp and tieup are
left unchanged.
Weft range is reset to the total weft.
Editor keys are displayed with the <?> help key while
editing.

Command: New/Tieup < NT >
Purpose: Erase the Tieup
Information:
When you request New/Tieup, you are warned that the tieup is
about to be erased. When you continue, the tieup is blanked
and you are returned to the threading editor if you escape
from the menu.
The current Lift Plan of harness combinations is NOT
recalculated until you enter the Tieup editing window. Once
you enter the tieup window, and make any changes--or just
leave it again--the lift plan is recalculated.
You can refresh the tieup by choosing New/Tieup while
Treadle Mode is OFF or by turning Treadle Mode Off and back
ON again BEFORE you enter the tieup window after erasing it.
This causes the tieup to be recalculated from scratch.
An easier way to recalculate the tieup from scratch is by
selecting Tools/Magic Tieup.
Comments:
The tieup is added to as needed whenever you switch from
Lift Plan editing (Treadle Mode OFF) to treadle and tieup
editing.

Command: New/Size < NS >
Purpose: Reduce or increase warp or weft limit
Information:
Gives a two-option menu to work with warp or weft.
Comments:
The Size of a weaving is the number of threads saved to
diskette. The current ranges do not affect the content of
the file. Range is limited by Size.
The editors' Insert/Delete keys also change weaving Size.

Command: New/Size/Warp or Weft < NSA or NSE >
Purpose: Reduce or increase warp or weft limit
Information:
Similar to Insert/Delete except new threads are at end of
warp or weft only.
If you increase the limit, new threads are added using the
working color and symbol if they are ON or the single color
and symbol.
Comments:

diskette. The current ranges do not affect the content of
the file. Range is limited by Size.
