Dye Removal
>Help! Someone on this echo posted about a new product that removed

It works great on whites.
In a bucket of HOT water combine 1 cup bleach, 1/2 cup
granulated dishwasher detergent, 1/4 cup laundry detergent. Soak
your garment/s for at least an hour, longer if the stain you want
gone still isn't. (I usually leave mine overnight, but I use a 5 gal.
bucket so the solution is more diluted & the bleach doesn't eat the
clothes.) Dump the whole thing in the washer & wash as usual. This
solution is the only thing I've found to remove baby formula, grass &
blood stains, & it works great on the white socks when the boys go
outside without shoes!
The solution can also be used on colors - MINUS the bleach - to
brighten them, but be sure the dishwasher detergent is completely
dissolved before adding the clothes. I ruined a pair of purple shorts
bcause they were at the bottom of the bucket & the undissolved
granules just leached the color!
