  5. repairman; of the murder of Rabbi Meir Kahane, the Zionist
  6. firebrand who advocated the expulsion of all Arabs from Israel
  7. and the occupied territories; in New York City. Kahane was shot
  8. to death in a New York City hotel on Nov. 5, 1990. Although a
  9. witness testified that he saw Nosir pointing a gun at Kahane
  10. seconds after the shooting, defense attorney William Kunstler
  11. convinced the jury that no one saw Nosir pull the trigger and
  12. that no forensic evidence implicated him.
