  5. of Impressionist and Postimpressionist art, 1,100 works by such
  6. masters as Cezanne, Seurat and Picasso (whose Jester and Young
  7. Harlequin is at left), was long confined to the Barnes
  8. Foundation building in a Philadelphia suburb, under the terms
  9. of Dr. Albert Barnes' will. But 70 pieces will soon be permitted
  10. a one-time international tour, according to a ruling issued last
  11. week by a Pennsylvania court that settled part of a bitter
  12. factional dispute within the foundation. The show will travel
  13. to the National Gallery of Art in Washington and possibly to
  14. other museums in France, Japan and the U.S., to help raise $7
  15. million for repairs and modernization at the gallery back home.
