  1. PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES

  5. I%1, cup, shortening
  6. I%2/3, cup, peanut butter
  7. I%1, cup, sugar
  8. I%1, cup, brown sugar
  9. I%2, med, eggs
  10. I%3, cups, flour
  11. I%2, tsp, baking soda
  12. I%1, tsp, salt
  13. I%1, tsp, vanilla

  16. R%  Cream sugar, shortening, and peanut butter together.

  18. R%  Add eggs and beat well.  Sift dry ingredients together and add to
  19. R%first mixture.  Add vanilla and form into small balls.  Place on
  20. R%lightly greased cookie sheet and press each ball flat with a fork.

  22. R%  Bake 10 - 12 minutes at 350 degrees.
