  5. I%1 1/2, cups, chicken, cooked and shredded
  6. I%1 1/2, cups, chicken broth
  7. I%1, cup, celery, diced
  8. I%2, T., soy sauce
  9. I%1, T., sugar
  10. I%2, T., butter
  11. I%4, T., onions, minced
  12. I%1, cup, mushrooms, whole button type
  13. I%1 1/2, T., cornstarch
  14. I%3, T., water, cold
  15. I%5, cups, cooked rice

  18. R%  Brown the onions and mushrooms lightly in butter.  Add the chicken,
  19. R%chicken broth, celery, soy sauce, sugar, and mushrooms and simmer for
  20. R%15 minutes.  Add the cornstarch and water, blend and stir into the
  21. R%mixture.

  23. R%  Cook until slightly thickened and clear.

  25. R%  Serve over hot chow mein noodles or rice (rice is shown in the
