  4.      If  your  bike  has  a  front
  5. brake,  be careful  not to  damage
  6. the brake  pads with the  tire. It
  7. is easy to knock them out of their
  8. shoes. You should  let the air out
  9. of  the tire  or remove  one brake
  10. pad  first.  (If  your  bike has a
  11. brake quick release mechanism, you
  12. should  use   this  option.  Don't
  13. forget  to reset  the brake  quick
  14. release   when   you   are  done!)
  15. Re-install  the safety  plates, if
  16. your bike has these.

  20.     Tighten  the two  axle nuts, a
  21. little  at a  time to  firmly hold
  22. the  wheel in  place. Note:  there
  23. should be one  washer on each side
  24. between  the  axle   nut  and  the
  25. outside of the fork. Make sure the
  26. wheel  is   centered  between  the
  27. forks. You can test  to see if the
  28. wheel is tight by hitting the side
  29. of  the tire  with your  fist. The
  30. wheel should not slip.
