  2. Advice about CoMa registration
  3.  
  4. This will give you information about the special procedure to gain 
  5. registration of the CoMa version, if you are in possession of a modem 
  6. and you have received your demonstration via a mailbox. We will also 
  7. tell you how you can get access to the upto date licensed version 
  8. without any problems.

  10. But first of all some explanationa about the advantages of this 
  11. procedure. 
  12.  
  13. You will save money for postage and packaging due to usage of the 
  14. electronic distribution. Additionally, you will always be able to 
  15. receive the latest version if you 'suck' your programme from a 
  16. mailbox or a FTP-server. With your registration code you can transform 
  17. your unlicensed version into a fully licensed version of CoMa, 
  18. registered under your name. But as always, even here the exeption to 
  19. the rule can happen. Every time the version is updated we reserve the 
  20. right to charge a small surcharge for this. You will understand that 
  21. the development of CoMa and the work this includes makes this 
  22. necessary, even programmers can not live from the fun of the 
  23. development alone.

  25. This procedure is very simple. After you have tested the unlicensed 
  26. version at leisure you have to pay us the cost of the full version and 
  27. give us your full details (name etc).
  28. The easiest way is to call up the window 'registration' and complete 
  29. it. Choose the button for the edit formular you need. 
  30. You will open the text editor of CoMa and after you have filled it with your 
  31. name and adress you can print a complete order form which you 
  32. have to send to us.

  93. The fastest method of payment is either postal order or cheque payment.

  95. You will then immediately receive your registration key, either by 
  96. e-mail, snail-mail or by fax if you have given us a fax No.
  97.  
  98. Once you receive your key please click the Menu 'info' in the CoMa 
  99. window. You find the select button 'Registration' and fill in your key.
  100. press the button 'Make license' and presto!
  101.  
  102. Updates, new registration keys
  103.  
  104. If you see a new CoMa version in your mailbox and you would like to 
  105. update you can exchange your programme against the new one. It is not 
  106. necessary to register new in the Info-Box upwards from version 1.80. 
  107. But now and then it might be necessary to input a new registration 
  108. key. Reason for this may be that CoMa has been broken by a friendly 
  109. 'Hacker' (of course the new key can be requested without any charge 
  110. to you), or the programme has been re-developed substantially and we 
  111. have to charge customers in possession of a very early version an 
  112. update fee for this registration.

  114. This will be necessary every 6 month. We believe this to be not excessive in 
  115. view of the advantages of new developments and improvements. Customers who have 
  116. registered later receive the new key without additonal charge.
