  1. Uninstall Instructions for Roxie's Math Fish
  2. --------------------------------------------

  4. PLEASE NOTE:  If you are installing the registered version
  5. of "Roxie's Math Fish" you do NOT need to uninstall the
  6. shareware version first.  The "Roxie's Math Fish" install
  7. program will copy over your old files and program icons with
  8. new ones.
  9.  
  10. Uninstalling "Roxie's Math Fish" from your hard drive is 
  11. simple.  There are two main steps: 1)  deleting the program 
  12. files from your hard drive and 2) deleting the program icon.
  13. No files are ever placed in the Windows directory, or anywhere
  14. else but the program directory.  The Windows registry is NOT
  15. modified by installing this program.

  17. A)  UNINSTALLING THE PROGRAM FOR WINDOWS 95
  18.  
  19.     1.  Delete the program files from your hard drive
  20.         a.  Click on Start/Programs/Microsoft Explorer.
  21.                 Click once on "Mathfish" to highlight it, not on 
  22.                 the + to the left of it.  Select "Delete" from the 
  23.                 "File" menu.
  24.          b.  When you are sure you no longer want these files
  25.                 double-click on the Recycle Bin on your desktop,
  26.                 and select "Empty Recycle Bin" from the "File" menu.
  27.     2.  Remove the program and group from the Start Menu Programs
  28.         a.  Click on Start/Settings/Taskbar.  Select the
  29.                 "Start Menu Programs" tab.  Click "Remove" and click
  30.                 on "Roxie's Math Fish", to highlight it.  Do not 
  31.         click on the + to the left of it.  If you did, now
  32.         click on the - to the left of it.  Click "Remove."
  33.     3.  Your uninstall is complete.

  37. B)  UNINSTALLING THE PROGRAM FOR WINDOWS 3.1

  39.     1.  Delete the program files from your hard drive
  40.             a.  From Windows, double-click on the "Main" group.
  41.                 Then double-click on "File Manager."  Find the
  42.                 directory where the Roxie's Reading Fish directory
  43.                 exists.  If you used the default when installing the
  44.                 program, the directories will be in:
  45.                         c:\mathfish
  46.                 (See "FINDING YOUR PROGRAM FILES" below if you have
  47.                 difficulty locating your program files.)
  48.             b.  Highlight the c:\mathfish directory.  Do this by first
  49.                 clicking on the "C" near the top of the inner window
  50.                 of the File Manager.  Click once on "MATHFISH."  You
  51.                 may need to scroll down the list of directories to do so.
  52.             c.  When "MATHFISH" is highlighted, press the Delete key
  53.                 (or select File/Delete).  You will see a dialog boc
  54.                 asking if you wish to Delete C:\MATHFISH?  Click on ok.
  55.                 Then you will see two more dialog boxes.  Click on
  56.                 "Yes to All" in response to both of those dialog boxes.
  57.         2.  Delete the program group and program icon
  58.             a.  From Windows, click just ONCE on the Roxie's Math
  59.                 Fish icon.  If you see a pop-up menu above the
  60.                 Roxie's Reading Fish icon, click anywhere else on
  61.                 the screen to close the menu.
  62.             b.  When the Roxie's Math Fish icon is highlighted,
  63.                 press the Delete key (or select File/Delete).  You
  64.                 will be asked "Are you sure you want to delete the
  65.                 group "Roxie's Math Fish"?  Click on "Yes."
  66.     3.  Your uninstall is complete.

  70. FINDING YOUR PROGRAM FILES
  71.  
  72. There is a quick way to determine where your program files are
  73. located on your hard drive.  In Windows, double-click on
  74. the Roxie's Math Fish group to open the group.  Then click
  75. just once on the "Roxie's Math Fish" icon.  From the "File"
  76. menu select "Properties."  Under working directory you will see
  77. the directory where the program files are located.
