  27. The ClickArt brand was developed in the mid-1980s to bring

  42. 2. Installation Instructions
  43. ----------------------------

  47. To Install
  48. - Begin at the Windows 95 desktop.
  49. - Insert the CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive.
  50. Note:  Only the first CD-ROM is used for installation
  51. - The Clickart 300,000 Premier Image Pak startup window will
  52.   appear.
  53. - Click the Install button and follow the on-screen
  54.   instructions to install the program.

  56. If the ClickArt 300,000 Premier Image Pak startup window
  57. does not appear automatically on screen, you can install the
  58. program manually:
  59. - Click the Start button on the taskbar and choose Run.
  60. - Type D:\SETUP.EXE in the line labeled Open. (If your
  61.   CD-ROM drive uses a letter other than D, substitute that
  62.   letter for D.)
  63. - Click the OK button and follow the on-screen instructions
  64.   to install the ClickArt 300,000 Premier Image Pak.

  66. To Run
  67. - Begin at the Windows 95 desktop.
  68. - Click the Start button, point to Programs, then
  69.   ClickArt, and then to ClickArt 300,000 Premier Image Pak.
  70. - Click the CompuPic Image Browser menu item to start the 
  71.   browser.

  73. To Remove
  74. If you need to remove the ClickArt 300,000 Premier Image
  75. Pak, begin at the Windows 95 desktop. Click the Start
  76. button, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
  77. Double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon. Click the
  78. Install/Uninstall tab and select ClickArt 300,000 Premier
  79. Image Pak from the list of programs. Click the Add/Remove
  80. button and then click the Yes button to remove the program.
  81. Click OK to clear the screen.

  87. - Begin at the Windows Program Manager. 
  88. - Insert the CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive. 
  89. Note:  Only the first CD-ROM is used for installation
  90. - Click the File menu, and select Run. 
  91. - Type D:\SETUP.EXE in the line labeled Command Line. (If
  92.   your CD-ROM drive uses a letter other than D, substitute
  93.   that letter for D.)

  98. After successfully installing the program, a program group
  99. titled 300k Premier Image Pak will be created in the
  100. Windows Program Manager. It will contain an icon labeled
  101. CompuPic Image Browser. Double-click this icon to start the
  102. browser.

  104. To Remove
  105. If you need to remove the 300,000 Premier Image Pak, begin
  106. at the Windows Program Manager. Double-click the 300k
  107. Premier Image Pak program group. Next, double-click the
  108. Uninstall Premier Image Pak icon. When prompted, click the
  109. Yes button to remove the program. Click OK to clear the
  110. screen.

  115. 3. Troubleshooting
  116. ------------------

  118. If you have any trouble running the installer, please do the
  119. following:
  120.  - Exit all applications.
  121.  - Run ScanDisk on your system.
  122.  - Run Disk Defragmenter (Defrag) on your system.
  123.  
  124. Both of the utilities listed above are included with DOS and
  125. Windows 95.

  130. 4. WMF Image Editor
  131. -------------------

  133. NOTE: The WMF Image Editor, also referred to as Metafile
  134. Companion, is a Windows 32-bit-only program. The WMF Image
  135. Editor may be installed with the main ClickArt 300,000
  136. Premier Image Pak installer, or you may follow the
  137. instructions below to install only the WMF Image Editor.

  141. To Install
  142. If you did not choose to install the WMF Image Editor with
  143. the rest of the ClickArt 300,000 Premier Image Pak, you can
  144. use the following instructions to install only the WMF Image
  145. Editor.
  146. - Click the Start button on the taskbar and choose Run  
  147. - Type D:\SETUP\WMFEDIT\WMFSETUP.EXE in the line labeled 
  148.   Open. (If your CD-ROM drive uses a letter other than D, 
  149.   substitute that letter for D.)
  150. - Click the OK button and follow the on-screen instructions
  151.   to install the WMF Image Editor.

  154. - Begin at the Windows 95 desktop.
  155. - Click the Start button, point to Programs, and then to
  156.   ClickArt.
  157. - Click the WMF Image Editor menu item to start the editor.

  160. If you need to remove the WMF Image Editor, begin at the
  161. Windows 95 desktop. Click the Start button, point to
  162. Settings, and then click Control Panel. Double-click the
  163. Add/Remove Programs icon. Click the Install/Uninstall tab
  164. and select Metafile Companion from the list of programs.
