  1. Hi!  Welcome to the System Shock CD Demo.  To run the demo, just select
  2. "Run System Shock" from the menu.  If you have a sound card, you will want
  3. to configure and test it from the main menu before running the demo.  If
  4. you're interested in further details about running the demo, or are having
  5. technical difficulties, you can look at the tech.txt file on the CD.

  7. The full floppy disk version of System Shock contains several features
  8. that have been disabled in the demo, as well as more than 9 additional
  9. levels beyond the one featured here.  The game should be available at any
  10. retail software store, or can be ordered directly from Electronic Arts by
  11. calling 1-800-245-4525.  The Enhanced CD Version of the game should be out
  12. by Christmas, and contains full speech versions of the logs and emails
  13. in the game, as well as SVGA rendering, SVGA cutscenes, and support for
  14. several popular varieties of VR headsets.
