  16.      DELUXE YAHT is a fast paced game similar to the dice game Yahtzee.
  17.     Up to four people may play, trying to obtain the highest possible score.
  18.     DELUXE YAHT features include mouse/keyboard support, pop-up windows,and
  19.     hi-res graphics. The game also keeps track of player statistics includ-
  20.     ing individual highest/lowest games, the top five averages and the top
  21.     five games.

  23.     -------------------------SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS--------------------------

  25.           Deluxe Yaht will run on most IBM PC XT/AT and compatibles equip-
  26.     ped with EGA or VGA graphics cards. The game will accept either mouse
  27.     or keyboard input, however the game plays best with a mouse.

  29.     The following files are required to run Deluxe Yaht and should all be
  30.     located in the same directory :

  32.     DELYAHT.EXE                   Executable game file
  33.     STAT.DAT                      Player data file
  34.     HIGH.DAT                      High game data file
  35.     AVG.DAT                       High average data file

  37.    -------------------------GETTING STARTED-------------------------------

  39.          At the dos prompt type DELYAHT to start the game. Make sure the
  40.    mouse is loaded before you boot up the game. If you do not have a
  41.    mouse the cursor can be controlled with the arrow keys. Press Enter
  42.    to activate the buttons or menu after moving the cursor on them.

  44.    ------------------------------ RULES-----------------------------------

  46.          The rules are included in the game and can be accesssed anytime
  47.      during play by activating the pull down menu 'Rules', then clicking
  48.      on 'View Rules'. Scoring examples are also located there.

  53.          Deluxe Yaht is distributed as shareware. Feel free to copy this
  54.     program and pass it on to your friends. Shareware is software that you
  55.     may examine and try out to see if it fits your needs. If you continue
  56.     to use the software after evaluating it you are expected to register
  57.     with the author. Registering has several benefits as described below.

  67.     to ensure that everything works smoothly in the game. I would
  68.     appreciate any comments you have on the game as this would be very
  69.     helpful when developing future programs.
