│ SIDPLAY REVISION HISTORY FILE │
└───────────────────────────────┘
Warning: Please always test the latest version before deleting the
previous one because it is most likely that major changings
not only affect in improvement but also in appearance
of new and disappointing bugs !!!

(improves PlaySid compatibility)
- don't verifying 'force soundcard'
Sound Blaster parameters anymore

Amiga archive extracting on PC

==============================================================================

- I/O bank switching implemented

- enhanced Galway-Noise emulation
- Sound Blaster 16 bug fixes
- needing less conventional memory
Note: due to the I/O-bank switching only a very few tunes for PlaySid
(AMIGA) don't run on SIDPLAY anymore. These tunes are modified
in such a way, so that they would not run on a real C64 either
because of missing bank switching instructions in the replaying
routines ! On the opposite some new tunes for SIDPLAY which didn't
work will run from now on, but are not played correctly by PlaySid
instead.
==============================================================================
version 1.20: - Galway-Noise support (prototype) July 1st, 1994

- IRQ disable hang up bug fixed
- 'PlaySid'/AMIGA one-file-support
- C64 NTSC clock speed option
- SID register view-mode option
- Sound Galaxy & SB clone frequency
bug fixed (Hi Adam and Pille !)
Note: this version contains more changings which result in sound
differences to version 1.10 and older - even if you think
some tunes have sounded better while listening to those
versions, the new routines should emulate the SID more correctly.
