  10. You Christians are nothing but a bunch of fakes. Why should
  11. I believe it? You have no proof. Your just basing your life
  12. around something that was written by a bunch of men over
  13. 2000 years ago."

  15. That is what I heard from a person a few days ago. And I
  16. can tell you; this person is saddeningly wrong. Jesus does
  17. work miracles, the Bible was written by God THROUGH man, and
  18. most of all: Yes, we do have proof.

  20. `Now,' you say, `he's
  21. going to go into all that religious love garbage.'  Well,
  22. in case you were saying that, you're wrong. I could sit here
  23. for hours telling you about the love that I have found in God,
  24. but I will try a diffrent approach. If you are a non-beliver,
  25. let me tell you that there is all the proof in the World;
  26. Archaeologically.

  28. Take for instance, Sodom and Gommorah; Biblical
  29. Cities in the Book of Genesis that were destroyed by their own lack
  30. of love, and God. They had fallen away from God, much like the world
  31. today, and were struck down by His wrath.  Well, about 3 years ago,
  32. the remnents of two cities south of the Dead Sea were discovered: with
  33. traces of destruction by a terrible fire.

  35. Only about a year ago, the Dead Sea scrolls with parts of Isaiah
  36. on it, were discovered in a small cave in the same general area.
  37. (Isaiah is an Old Testiment book of Prophecy.)  The first actual
  38. victim of crucifixion on the cross ever found was in 1968, proving
  39. that crucifixion, like that of Jesus, was actually used back then.
  40. The Biblical cities of Zoan, otherwise known as Tanis, was discovered
  41. in Lower Egypt in 1948.

  43. The tomb of the fabled queen of Sheba also in the Old Testiment was
  44. found recently in Addis Ababa.  Literally hundreds of biblical ruins
  45. have been discovered in Jeruselum, while clearing away areas for
  46. construction.  The massive Altar of Joshua has been found on the
  47. northeastern face of Mt. Ebal in Jeruselum.

  49.   Other Archaeological
  50. Discoveries in The Holy Land:
  51.  
  52. Pre-flood writings found in the ruins of Ur.  Accad, one of Nimrod'
  53. s cities mentioned in Gen 10:10, also called Sippar.
  54.  
  55. " Temptation Seal" was found near Babylon, portraying in pictures
  56. exactley what Genesis says in words. It shows a tree, on one side
  57. a man, the other side a woman plucking fruit, and behind the woman
  58. a serpant.

  60. Flood proof.. has been found all over ancient Mesopotamia.. soil
  61. deposits from the far north have been brought to the south. Two
  62. layers of soil are evident, proving that there was at one time a
  63. great flood.

  65. Tower of Babel.. two sites have been found, each one with inscriptions
  66. telling the story of Babel, have been found in the Babylon region.

  68. Shisak's invasion of Judah. Shisak's own record of this invasion was
  69. found carved into a wall at the temple of Karnak.
  70.  
  71. Babylon.. the ancient and once splendid city was uncovered in
  72. Southern Iraq.

  74.   ... the list is endless.  So, you can see why we, as Christians,
  75.   do have proof of the Bible. But, more important to us than this
  76.   proof is the proof in our hearts one of us gets when he or she
  77.   accepts Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

  79.    So there is fact along with the "Folklore" and there is "
  80.    Logical" proof that these events did happen, for those of
  81.    you who desire such proof. God, contrary to popular belief, IS
  82.    real, He is alive, and one day, maybe tomorrow, or maybe 75
  83.    years from now, you'll look Him right in the face.
