ORG:The Ironies - of "The Treasure" by Morris D. Armstrong
(this writing was selected to respond primarily to those who may
still be befuddled about who is "man" why is "man" and how did we
evolve)
We were all here before. All the people ever born and yet to be born
have already been here upon the earth. In the beginning, at the time of
the creation of the first man, god created all of mankind in a single
day and the whole earth was filled with man, whom god called adam. But
this adam was in his original form...spirit. And satan tried to seduce
the adam of the world, for he was exceedingly jealous and the weaker
side of adam gave ear to satan who had already lost his place with god.
And, for listening to satan, god brought about his wrath against the
adam of the world and placed the adam of spirit into the flesh of an
ape-like creature called "man". This "man" was to till the earth and be
of service to the adam that god had created. Adam became subject to
pain and procreation through the "man".
In his original form, adam was spirit and a spirit cannot die. It
was for this reason that god placed adam into a body of flesh because
the flesh does die.
In the flesh of "man" adam was divided into male and female so that
through procreation all other adam could come into the world to suffer
and die for their sin of disloyalty to god. But in his goodness, god
forgave adam and allowed them a way to repay him for their disloyalty.
It was decreed that man must be born "again" of the spirit in order to
enter the kingdom of heaven. the irony is; to be born again of the
spirit one must die of the flesh. It is life that brings us a temporary
death and death that brings us life everlasting.
This time of living in the flesh is the time of our test. It is here
and now that we tell god by our acts if we have been swayed by the
voice of satan who does not want to see us gain what he himself has
lost permanently. But that is the reason satan is allowed in the
world...he is our test. Will we continue to listen to satan or will we
listen to god? but we have been born in the flesh and we do not
remember that being "man" came about as punishment for our sin. Each
person born was here before and was part of the sin to one degree or
another. Some of us did not want to listen to satan but we did not
rebel against him either; we were pacifists and allowed him to win many
of our brethren.
And there are those who have come, just as jesus did, to be martyred
for our sakes. To tell us of the love of god for us...the way is open
to us to return to god if we want to.
Each of us is born into a particular body at a particular time under
particular conditions and locations that are to our own best interests.
That which will best serve our test is why we are born as we are. It is
to see if we can come to realize that there is no thing more important
upon the earth that man can do than to love god.
When adam was breathed into the creature call "man", the creature
became a living spirit. Then began the cycle of evolution because of
the greatness of the spirit, within him. This is the time that science
cannot explain - the time of the "missing link" and man grew in
knowledge, because the spirit of the adam knew all things. And man shed
his hairy clothing because of the spirit of adam within him, and man
became favorable in the eyes of god. God forgave him and promised to
open a way for the spirit of adam to regain his former glories, but
first, adam must be reborn through the flesh, and, when the last of the
spirit that god had created is born, then shall come the end of the
world.
And the "man" became full of knowledge because of the spirit that
was breathed into him by god, and the man knew procreation between
brothers and sisters and mothers and sons and grandmothers and other
close relations and even grandfathers with granddaughters and fathers
with daughters. This brought about a great diversity of appearance
among man. There was black skin that begat brown skin that begat white
skin and all manner of colors and textures of hair and colors of eyes
and heights and builds of body. Like a garden of many colored flowers,
the man beautified the earth and was this way only for the fact that
adam had been breathed into him. The "man" (flesh) is now one with adam
(the spirit). As a person, each of us now lives his own test of
loyalty. Our graduation day is the day we die.

..the preceeding can be found in "the treasure" along with other
revelations that are of the same ilk as well as descriptions of some
very startling supernatural events that actually happened in the
author's life. The treasure is made up of three "books", each book
dealing with a specific topic. The first book (called "the
understanding") reveals a subject that will so change your way of
thinking that you will want to keep this book with you as a guide.
The second book (called "the story") is dedicated to the author's
personal encounters with the "supernatural" and the unexplainable .
The third book (called "the ironies") deals with matters that if one
were to close one's ears to the noise of opinion and open one's eyes
and see for one's self that which actually is then many answers would
make themselves known to one.
