Subj: Spiritual War
What if a prominent American declared, "Judaism is for losers"? Imagine a
major publication declaring that a candidate for the Federal Communications
Commission had been put forward "To appease the Jews who have been clamoring
for years to have one of their own on the FCC." What if a leading Hollywood
figure declared, "When you see the Star of David symbol on the bumper sticker
of the car in front of you, know that that is the enemy"? I would trust that
any such statement would anger you with its vicious bigotry and prejudice
against God's chosen people.
Joe Farah, editor of 'Between the Lines', points out that each of these
three statements was made in public by prominent figures with one minor
difference. The attacks were not on the Jewish community but on Christians!
Millionaire broadcaster Ted Turner said, "Christianity is for losers."
'Broadcasting' magazine declared that Ervin Duggan was made a candidate for
the FCC to appease Christians, and musician Frank Zappa declared that those
with fish symbols on their cars are "the enemies" when speaking at a
pro-abortion rally.
Funny how religious discrimination is increasingly acceptable -- if it's
against Christians.
