A tile may be moved if it has no tiles on top of it, and it can "slide" left or right.
When you click on a tile, it will highlight if it can be moved. When you click on a second matching, moveable tile, both tiles are removed.
That's it! Remove them all!

Just click to select, then click a matching tile to remove both. If you change your mind, just click on the proper choice. To unselect an icon, you can also click outside the buttons.
Use the Tab key to bring back the last pair you removed. You can use Tab more than once if you like, or use the Restart command to start over.
If there's nothing selected, hold down the Option key and click to see what tiles can move. With a tile selected, the Option key will highlight matching tiles.
You can stop a game and take it up later: just Save, or say Yes when you Quit.

If you have ResEdit or Servant (or even using HyperCard), you can customize Hyper-GunShy for yourself.
Icons : there are 36 sets of four icons each. The first set is drawn with ICON 140 if there is one, otherwise with ICN# 140, or finally with a Chicago 'a'.
The next 25 sets are given by ICONs 141-165, ICN#s 141-165, or the letters b-z.
The last 10 sets are given by ICONs 166-175, ICN#s 166-175, or 0-9.
The tiles of a set don't have to be identical -- notice Steve Jobs' smile! ICONs 176-211, 212-247, and 248-283 may be used to vary the icons of the set.
For examp[e, Steve is 141, 141+36=177,177+36=213, and 213+36=249.
Smaller icons seem to look better. Also, please put in your more unusual icons: the original set was basically a dump of my DeskTop file!
You can also customize the background. It's assumed to be a full Macintosh screen image.
Use HyperCard and Import Paint or Paste Picture to paste a picture into the Background of the first card.
