  1. The software on this disk came from bulletin boards and directly from share-
  2. ware writers.  These are major league boards.  Below you will find some
  3. info on these boards.  If you are thinking of joining one, any one of these
  4. would serve you well.
  5. The software originated with very talented shareware and amatuer software
  6. writers.  These folks are all acknowledged in their documentation.  Certainly
  7. the biggest thanks we can give them is to pay for their software if we use
  8. it.

  13. *Virtually all the "PC-TYPE" files came from PC-LIBRARY.  It has taken many
  14.  years, lots of equipment and 1000's of man-hours to develop a system that
  15.  can gather and hold these files.  Now it is all yours.
  16. *When we last checked Nick's board (04-01-1990) he had 1.5 Giga Bytes on line.
  17. *He is running 11 nodes, on-line 24 hours a day, 365 days a year -- power
  18.  outage or not !!!
  19. *His is also the FASTEST darn thing you ever will use.

  30. The Commodore and many of the graphics came from the "CHARLIE" board of 
  31. Saginaw, Michigan.  This board supports IBM, APPLE, MAC, ATARIST, AMIGA etc.
  32. It is being constantly updated and improved.  Call ALDE for the BBS number.

  36. The MACINTOSH files came from the MAC conference of the SIMTEL20 host computer
  37. on the Defense Data Network.  This small (2300 files) but very high quality
  38. collection has been in the making for some years now.
