  13. FILEMAN is a small Microsoft Windows v 3.0 file manager for copying, moving,
  14. renaming, and deleting files.  In addition, other utilities are provided,
  15. including the ability to change file attributes, to rename or delete
  16. subdirectories and to perform file searches. If you like FILEMAN please
  17. register it as described below.

  20. The main window consists of a listing of the source files and directories on the
  21. left and the destination files/directories on the right.  The type of files
  22. displayed can be altered by changing the file specification in the edit box at
  23. the top.  The filename must include a wild card character (* or ?). Otherwise,
  24. the default specification of *.* is used.

  26. Moving from one directory to another is accomplished by double clicking on the
  27. appropriate path in the path list box.  Double clicking on a file name will run
  28. the file if it is a Windows application described in your WIN.INI file under the
  29. [Extensions] section.  Actually, because the the files listbox is a multiple
  30. selection type, the file launched is the first highlighted file in the list box.
  31. Deselect all the other files first by clicking on [None] before choosing a file.

  41. [+]        Swaps destination and source paths.

  43. [Copy]        Copies selected files from source to destination.

  45. [Move]        Moves selected files from source to destination (deletes the
  46.         source files).

  48. [Option]    Invokes a dialog box to change defaults such as confirmation
  49.         on file deletion, etc.  The save option is not implemented
  50.         in this shareware copy of the program.

  52. [Find]        Invokes a dialog box for performing a file search.

  98. FILEMAN is a shareware product. It may be freely copied and distributed for
  99. evaluation as long as:

  101.     1) The program and documentation are included without modifications,
  102.  
  103.         2) No charge, other than a handling fee (to be less than $5.00)
  104.        is made, and
  105.  
  106.         3) Users of the program are encouraged to register their copy.

  108.         4) The following files are included:

  111.         Fileman.hlp   -- Windoews on-line help file
  112.         Fileman.txt   -- this file
  113.         fileman.ord   -- order form

  115. If a copy of this program is used beyond an initial 2-week evaluation period,
  116. the user is obligated to obtain a license for its use.  A license for this
  117. program for most users costs only $25.00.  With the purchase of a license you
  118. will receive a copy of FILEMAN with the nag-ware screens removed.
