  13. Freeze! is the first Windows based file compression utility...
  14. sure...there have been other extraction programs or shells
  15. for DOS based compression utilities, but after all...isn't
  16. part of the reason that you use Windows due to its multitasking
  17. capabilites? Well, if so, then Freeze! is the utility for you!
  18.  
  19. Freeze! allows one to take several files and have them compressed into
  20. one Freeze! file (with an .ICE extension). It will also extracts
  21. compressed files from an .ICE file into the files original, uncompressed
  22. state. Freeze! also fully supports Window's non-premptive multi-tasking
  23. capabilites and hs four priority settings:

  25. Low - Slowest, but also relinquishes the most time for other programs
  26.  to execute.
  27. Medium - Halfway between Low and High.
  28. High - Supports multitasking, but relinquishes less time than
  29.  in Medium priority. Works a little faster than Medium/Low.
  30. Exclusive - Here Freeze! does all its work and while it's working
  31.  other applications 'freeze' (what a pun!).

  33. Try it...compress several files and then switch over to your
  34. telecommunications software while Freeze! is busy...works great.

  36. Anyways, as listed this version (1.0) is a Beta test version. Error
  37. trapping isn't the best...the program doesn't support extracting ZIP files
  38. or compressing entire disks as the final version does...but
  39. it seems to be quite bug free.

  52. virtual keyboard. If you use special symbol/dingbat characters then

  54. character, but FontSee will type it into your document for you just
  55. by clicking on the character! FontSee 2.0 is also shareware and the
