  12. What is WINFO.EXE?
  13. WINFO.EXE (Window Information) is a small FREE(!) program that allows
  14.  you to examine your configuration as Windows knows it.
  15.  
  16. WINFO.EXE can be freely distributed as long as there is no charge for it.
  17. When distributed, the following UNMODIFIED FILES must be included: WINFO.EXE,
  18. WINFO.WRI and WINFO.TXT.

  20. It must also be noted, WINFO.EXE is provided "AS IS". That is, without 
  21. warranty of any kind, expressed or implied.

  24. Whats New:
  25. Version 2.0.f utilizes a 'button' interface as well as the system
  26. menu interface.  In addition, more information is now displayed!

  28. How to start:
  29. You can start WINFO.EXE in the customary Windows methods.  These include,
  30. File Manager, adding the program to an existing group, etc.

  33. What does it do after it has started?
  34. WINFO.EXE will load and then appear as a small Window on your desktop ready
  35. for use.

  37. To obtain information about your system:
  38.  
  39.           1) Use the mouse pointer and click on the button of
  40.              interest.
  41.  
  42.           2) Use the 'accelerator' keys to select the button of
  43.              interest.

  45.           Also, if WINFO is displayed as an ICON, you may use the
  46.           system menu to obtain the same information.

  48. After an item is selected, WINFO.EXE will then display a dialog box.
  49. The dialog box contains a scrollable list box of the desired
  50. information.
