  1. BigBen animation is available from bach.berkeley.edu

  3. I was very upset when I missed the badge meeting at which the
  4. latest killer demos were voted on.  Had I been there, I would not
  5. have voted "tychoid" for best graphics.  "Tychoid" has very low
  6. quality rendering and is jaggies-ful lo-res ham.

  8. Bigben is my recreation of "tychoid."  I used my own version of DBW
  9. to produce 30 frames of hi-res ham which are animated by eric graham's
  10. movie program.  I wrote a script-generating program to produce all the
  11. scene description files based on what I saw from "tychoid."  A network
  12. of sun3/50's with 68881's cranked out the ilbm files in about 5 hours.

  14. I "stole" movie1.3 (the one capable of playing sounds) from Dr. Gandalf's
  15. "Not Again" and added some standard sound files to accompany BigBen.

  17. To see bigben, just click on it from the workbench.
  18. From the cli, type "movie bigben.movie bigben.aud"
