  9.           Path - Set the CLI search path for executable files.
  10.  
  11.      SYNOPSIS
  12.           Path Dir/... ADD/s SHOW/s RESET/s QUIET/s

  14.      DESCRIPTION
  15.           The Path command lets you add directories to the places
  16.           AmigaDOS looks for executable programs.  By default AmigaDOS
  17.           looks in the current directory, and then in the C: logical
  18.           device (set by using Assign).  You can add directories to
  19.           search between these two points by using Path.  Note that
  20.           you can use wildcards when specifying directories to search
  21.           to Path.  If a wildcard is specified, the first directory
  22.           which matches the wildcard pattern will be added. As usual
  23.           with ARP commands, any number of directories can be added
  24.       to the path with one command.

  26.      OPTIONS
  27.           ADD  This option allows you to add directories to the
  28.                current path. Note that you do not need to use this
  29.                keyword, if you simply type directories as arguments,
  30.                this action is implied.

  32.           SHOW This displays the current path. The same behavior may
  33.                be obtained by simply using Path without any arguments.

  35.           RESET
  36.                This will replace the old path with the new path you
  37.                specify.  If you do not specify any directories to
  38.                search, the Path defaults to the current directory, and
  39.                then to C:.  It is not possible currently to remove
  40.                these two directories from the path.

  42.           QUIET
  43.                This prohibits displaying requestors for disks which
  44.                are not mounted when displaying the path with SHOW.  If
  45.                you use this switch, and the disks are not currently
  46.                mounted (i.e., in a disk drive) then only the volume
  47.                name will be displayed.

  49.      EXAMPLES
  50.           Path ADD df1: df2:
  51.           Add drives df1: and df2: to the searchpath
  52.  
  53.           Path RESET df1: df2:
  54.           Reset the path to search drives one and two.
  55.  
  56.           Path ADD DF1:b*
  57.           The above command will add the first directory found on DF1:
  58.           that begins with the letter b.
