(@title Calendar Pal - Introduction@)(@indent 3@)
Calendar Pal is an ARexx program written by (@ref help:about-cp@)Dan Schenck(@unref@)
for presenting calendars and allowing you to associate notes with a
day's activities. To use Calendar Pal, you must have ARexx, and the
(@ref help:RexxARPLib@)(@color 3@)RexxARPLib.library(@color 1@)(@unref@) file
must be in your LIBS: directory.
Calendar Pal needs to run on an interlaced screen (640x400). If your Workbench
screen is not in interlace mode, Calendar Pal will open its own HIRES+INTERLACE
screen to display its windows on.
Calendar Pal is capable of generating accurate calendars for any year/month
combination from 0000 to 9999. Mike Meyer's calendar routine was incorporated
into Calendar Pal to provide this feature. For more information on how to
enter the year/month to be displayed, (@ref help:year-conventions@)double click here(@unref@).
In addition to displaying the calendar for the year/month requested, Calendar
Pal will also show up to 15 lines of notes associated with the (@ref current-day,
help:display-conventions@)current day(@unref@). For a complete description of
Calendar Pal's display conventions, (@ref help:display-conventions@)double
