Created with Advantage's SHOOT'EM UP CONSTRUCTION KIT
Instructions:
You are the pilot of a WWII U.S. Navy P-38 Lightning. This fighter has been
specially modified with more armour and weapons to assist you on your
dangerous mission against the Japanese Navy and Air Force. You have a
squadron of 5 airplanes at your command, and another squadron flown by
another pilot is also available. Your mission: DESTROY the Japanese armada!
Controls:
The joystick plugged into port two controls Player One.
To have two players operating simutaneously, plug in another joystick in the
second port, and press the fire button during game play.
Player One always starts the game by pressing the fire button at the main
game title screen. Player Two may join in any time after.
To quit a game during play, press the left and right mouse button.
You may also exit back to WorkBench by positioning the mouse pointer on the
top left corner of the screen and pressing the left mouse button.
You begin the game with 5 aircraft, and bonus aircrafts are awarded at every
10,000 points earned. Big scores can be racked up by destroying ships.
Other Stuff:
This game was inspired by its arcade cousins, and motivated by the very poor
conversion to the Amiga by an unmentioned company. This game was completely
written with Advantage's SHOOT'EM UP CONSTRUCTION KIT, which was developed
by Palace Software. I'd like to thank Palace and Advantage for bringing out
such an excellent software package, and I encourage everyone who's ever
wanted to write games to take a look at the SHOOT'EM UP CONSTRUCTION KIT.
