Greetings,
You will need the Perfect Sound 3 audio digitizer and attached microphone
to run VCLI.
Before running VCLI, copy voice.library to the sys:libs directory. Then
you may run VCLI either from the CLI or the workbench.
VCLI contains extensive instuction screens that explain how to learn
voice commands and how to specify matching CLI commands to be executed
on recognition of a spoken command.
This is Version 3.0 of VCLI. Version 3 improves voiceprint matching for
fewer false alarms. Also, a "Ready" prompt is given when VCLI is prepared
to receive input. The VCLI window now behaves itself on the WorkBench
screen and will not interfere or overwrite overlapping windows. And
finally, the number of voice commands possible has been increased from
12 to 48.
I would be happy to discuss VCLI and voice.library with anyone interested
in programming details.
