  63. This package contains MomShell(TM) (Version 1.2a), by Manuel Onate. This
  64. document contains only a brief description of the package and its
  65. features, along with instructions for its installation.  Quite detailed
  66. documentation is included in the package, but it is in archived form, and
  67. is more easily read after installation.

  69. If you've ever wished MicroSoft designed a really practical Program
  70. Manager then MomShell is the program for you. It has a better interface
  71. and packs lots of features not found on the Program Manager that comes
  72. with Windows.

  74. MomShell is a shareware program.  This evaluation version includes most
  75. features of the registered version. Use it for up to 30 days, without
  76. charge (see MOMSHELL.WRI for more details).  If you like the program, and
  77. wish to continue its use after this evaluation period, you are required
  78. to pay for the program (see MOMSHELL.WRI for more details).  Any fee you
  79. may have paid to others (disk vendors, dealers, etc.) to obtain this
  80. evaluation version was a fee for their copying and distribution services,
  81. rather than a payment for continued use of the program.

  105. Installing MomShell is very easy.  You will need about 1.5 MB of
  106. available disk space on the hard drive on which you plan to install
  107. MomShell.
  108.  
  109. The exact steps you need to take will depend on how you received
  110. MomShell.
  111.  
  112. INSTALLING FROM DISKETTES
  113.  
  114. To install from diskette(s), you need to perform the following steps.
  115.  
  116.    o  Place MomShell distribution diskette in the appropriate
  117.       diskette drive.
  118.  
  119.    o  Copy the files MOMSHELL.EXE, MOMSHELL.WRI and MOMSHELL.DLL to your
  120.       Windows directory. The rest of the files included in the
  121.       distribution diskette are not necesary to run the program.
  122.  
  123.    o  Run MOMSHELL.EXE through the run command of the Program Manager or
  124.       File Manager, or install a program icon on Program Manager and
  125.       execute it.

  127. INSTALLING FROM A HARD DRIVE
  128.  
  129. If you downloaded MomShell from a BBS (or received it in the form of
  130. archive files from some other source), you will need to perform the
  131. following steps.
  132.  
  133.    o  Extract the contents of the archive file(s) in a temporary
  134.       directory on your hard drive.  The procedure for doing this
  135.       varies, depending on the form in which you received the package.
  136.       In all likelihood, the fact that you are reading this text means
  137.       that you already have the necessary tools and knowledge to
  138.       perform this step.  If not, you should be able to obtain
  139.       directions for this from the same source from which you received
  140.       the package.

  142.    o  Proceed as described above.

  144. When you're satisfied that the installation was successful, you should
  145. delete the temporary directory FROM which you installed MomShell,
  146. including all its contents.

  171. quality software without high prices, and yet to provide incentive for
  172. programmers to continue to develop new products.  If you find this
  173. program useful and find that you are using MomShell and continue to use
