  1. The main Backup window always appears when you
  2. launch Norton Backup. All you have to do is
  3. select your files and go! To keep things simple,
  4. the default backup options will be used for this
  5. exercise.

  7. Norton Backup can back up to virtually any DOS 
  8. drive -- hard drives, floppy drives and network 
  9. drives. If the drive device has a drive letter 
  10. and can be written to, Norton Backup can back up 
  11. your files to it.

  13. For this short exercise, you will select a few
  14. files and back them up to the floppy drive of
  15. your A: drive.
  16.  
  17. The content and type of the files you back up do
  18. not matter. Just remember to keep the total size
  19. of all the files limited to a few megabytes. The
  20. DOS directory will be selected for this backup
  21. exercise.
