  15. printed circuit boards in your
  16. computer are covered with scores
  17. of little rectangular bugs with
  18. many legs.  These are I.C. chips.
  19. I. C. stands for Integrated
  20. Circuit.  If you could look
  21. inside one with a magnifying
  22. glass you would see what looks
  23. like a downtown map.  This is
  24. a pile of semi-conducting
  25. photographic images that form
  26. complex electronic circuits.
