  149. The installation procedure for Crossdown is quite simple.  The
  150. package includes a program, "INSTALL.BAT", which automates the
  151. entire process.

  153. INSTALLING FROM DISKETTES
  154.  
  155. To install from diskette, you need to perform the following steps.
  156.  
  157.    o  Place the Crossdown distribution diskette in the appropriate
  158.       diskette drive.
  159.  
  160.    o  Execute the "INSTALL.BAT" program on the distribution diskette.
  161.       For example, if the distribution diskette is on drive A:, type
  162.       the MS-DOS command, "A:INSTALL A".
  163.  
  164.    o  Follow the instructions presented by the installation program.

  166. INSTALLING FROM A HARD DRIVE
  167.  
  168. If you downloaded Crossdown from a BBS (or received it in the form of
  169. archive files from some other source), you will need to perform the
  170. following steps.

  172.    o  Extract the contents of the archive file in a temporary
  173.       directory on your hard drive.  The procedure for doing this
  174.       varies, depending on the form in which you received the package.
